so we got rained out in sante fe.

we woke up to wet sleeping bags and a little bit of a pool effect going on in the tent, and because there isn't grass, the mud was horrendous. But, we packed up, showered, and moved on...to check out Sante Fe during the day.
We left Sante Fe right before a downpour, and we headed south to Albuquerque. Not the most exciting place, but what the hey.

This evening we are staying in a hotel in Sedona, AZ. To get here, I had to endure windy curving roads at 4000ft. elevation, and David's stop and go driving. He knows it, but I should have taken a dramamine. Just reminisce to the drives in PA, where next the road, it just drops off. It was exactly like that, but it was also pitch black, and when you look up, you can see cars driving where you were just driving. I was clenching my teeth, holding my breath, and hoping it would end soon. We made it! Tomorrow we are going on a natural water slide, checking out the town, and then to the Grand Canyon!!!

I love the blog!!! I'm so glad you two decided to make one! It's all the stuff that Patty and I should've stopped at along the way to LA... but instead we blew through the country in favor of a stay in Vegas and me wanting to see Chris asap!
Keep having fun times! Take those dramamines! And enjoy the Grand Canyon!!!
Chris and I cleaned the apartment today after Brad and Sylvia peaced out, soooo it's all nice and ready for you two!
